Porth Teigr has received a Highly Commended Big Tick as part of the prestigious Wales Responsible Business Awards 2014, which are run by the charity Business in the Community.
The Wales Responsible Business Awards are part of the UK's longest-running and most respected awards scheme and recognise businesses that are making a positive difference to society and to the environment.
The Big Tick is a leading endorsement of responsible business, and companies are awarded for initiatives tackling a range of issues: from building long-term partnerships with schools and in the community, to inspiring young talent and supporting the growth of SMEs and social enterprise.
Porth Teigr achieved the Highly Commended Big Tick in the Finance Wales Responsible Small Business category.
Mark Hallett, development director said: " We are committed to FootprintR, our policy of sustainable investment designed to deliver benefits to our four key stakeholder groups (institutional investors; local community; creative industries; regeneration agencies) by generating economic, environmental, social and financial value in edge of city-centre locations.
"I am delighted that our commitment to responsible business has been recognised and being highly commended has made all the efforts of the key stakeholders in the project team worthwhile. "
Porth Teigr was presented with the Big Tick trophy at the Wales Responsible Business Awards Gala Dinner on 26 June at the Swalec Stadium in Cardiff.
